Gordos Northside

I've eaten at Gordos for years! It's always been amazing and my go-to is the Cheeseburger in Paradise. The Gordos sauce is one of the best sauces I've ever had - we usually take a bunch home to use in other dishes! If you're brave enough, the Gordos Smash will have you smashed, guaranteed. I've had a lot of good times at their old location, and this one is no different! Good people, Great food! Love Gordos!

Fantastic grown-up version of a college town fav The smash will put you on your butt so be warned I was also impressed with their side salad Top notch food that's true to its name. P.s The tostones are a go to!

Ok, if you go to this restaurant make sure to order Gordo sauce with whatever you get. I can't describe the sauce but we got it with our croquetas and it was delicious! The food was out pretty quickly and the service was good. The beans could use a little bit more flavor. Also, it was strange that the prices were written on our menu in permanent marker. Tells me that they just raised prices which unfortunately I guess is to be expected these days... All in all, great options on the menu and it's worth a try. Fyi, they have a fishtank which kids will certainly love.

Solid four stars. Reasonably fast service, good food including apps, sides, pressed sandwiches/Cubans, and Cuban meals with lots of sides. Chilly beer and good tea as well.

The food is lovely at Gordos. The meat tastes great . We always order the Sliders which is our favorite hence this was a must order for us . This time around we orders the croquettes, chicken wrap and the two favorite Cuban speciality national dishes .. the portions are huge and the taste never fails.

The food was great! It was fresh and hot when it arrived. I was a little disappointed with our server. She seemed too busy to give us much attention. She would bring something and immediately turn around and walk away. I tried to ask for a soda and had to wait for her to come back. I like to interact with my servers, but we were unable to with her.

Starter Thursday! Croquetas, Empanadas sampler, Cuban sliders, red beans and rice, and the most famous of them all….Gordos sauce! All excellent!
